SHLE was recently involved in the construction of the Bridge joining RIO and ANTIRION (The north part of Peloponesse with the south part of Mainland Greece). |

| The 1600 Tonne lifting capacity self propelled sheerleg TAKLIFT 7 was used to perform difficult heavy lifts to heights of up to 170 meters. | |
| All the steel blocks that form the tarmac surface of the bridge have been mounted succesfuly using the heavy lifting capabilities of SMIT’s self propelled sheerleg Taklift 7. The weight of each steel-road load is approx 310 tonnes and the height it has to be lifted in order to be placed and secured with the steel stantions on the bridge is approximately 67 meters. | |
